Do You Have Access?

"Where can I go from Your Spirit? Or where can I flee from Your presence? If I ascend into heaven, You are there; if I make my bed in hell, behold, You are there... Even there Your hand shall lead me, and Your right hand shall hold me." (Psalm 139:7–10, NKJ)

One of the greatest privileges we have as believers is not simply knowing about God, it is having access to Him. Do you have access to the Most High God?  If you do, then you have access to the One who knows what you cannot know. He is never surprised by your circumstances because He sees the beginning and the end at the same time. While we experience life one day at a time, God stands outside of time. He is timeless. Yesterday, today, and tomorrow are all before Him.

Perhaps that is why David asked these remarkable questions: "Where can I go from Your Spirit? Or where can I flee from Your presence? If I ascend into heaven, You are there; if I make my bed in hell, behold, You are there... Even there Your hand shall lead me, and Your right hand shall hold me." (Psalm 139:7–10, NKJV)

What a comforting reminder! There is nowhere we can go where God is not already present. He is with us on the mountaintops of celebration and in the valleys of uncertainty. He is present in seasons of joy, in moments of grief, in the waiting, and even in the unknown future that sometimes causes us to worry.

When you need wisdom, remember that you can ask the One who already knows the outcome. When you are unsure of your next step, seek the One who has already walked ahead of you. The God who fills heaven and earth is not limited by the boundaries that limit us. He sees what we cannot see and knows what we have yet to discover.

That does not mean He reveals every detail of tomorrow, but it does mean we can trust the One who is already there. His presence goes before us, walks beside us, and remains behind us, surrounding us with His faithful love.

Today, instead of focusing on what you do not know, celebrate the One to whom you have access. The Most High God is not distant. He is present. He is leading. He is holding you with His righteous hand. You may not know what tomorrow holds, but you know the God who does.

Pearl's Prayer:

Father, thank You that I never face life alone. Thank You for being present in every season and for knowing the beginning and the end. When I am uncertain, remind me that I have access to Your wisdom, Your presence, and Your peace. Help me trust the One who is already waiting in my tomorrow.

In Jesus' name, Amen.
